About Us

Capuraginga San Antonio is taught by Graduado Advogado and his wife Graduada Motorzinho. G. Advogado is a graduate of St. Mary’s law school of San Antonio. He lived in Brazil for two years and speaks fluent Portuguese. G. Motorzinho was an elementary school teacher for five years and specializes in teaching kids Capoeira. They both strongly believe that Capoeira has something for everyone and that people of all ages and abilities can learn. The Capuraginga San Antonio studio is located in the Castle Hills Market strip mall on the corner of NW Military Highway and West Ave. 2211 NW military #105. The studio faces West Ave. between Lockhill Selma and NW Military in the Castle Hills area of San Antonio. Everyone is welcome to come and try a free Capoeira class. Mestre (master) Loka is originally from Barra do Cuiete in the state of Minas Gerais. He trained under Mestre Catiguara and in the only man ever to be made a Capoeira Mestre under him. Mestre Loka moved to the US in the mid 1990’s. He currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife Graduada Lua Branca.
