CapuraGinga Leadership
CapuraGinga Capoeira is an international group that offers classes in many locations. The following is the leadership of our group.

Mestre Loka
is the founder and President of CapuraGinga. Originally from Barra do Cuite, MG Brazil, Mestre now lives and teaches in Leominster, MA, USA.
Mestre Sorriso

Professor Mago
has been teaching Capoeira in Colorado Springs, CO since 2003. Prior to that, he taught in Utah.

Professor Furacão
has been practicing Capoeira since 1998. He loves traveling, exercise, being vegan and helping his patients. Furacão graduated from Parker University in 2010 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, as well as a BS in Health and Wellness and a BS in Anatomy. He is a practicing chiropractic physician in Scottsdale, AZ, and a professor at Phoenix College.

Monitor Advogado (Nathan Sparrow)
started training Capoeira in 1999. He has a B.A. from the University of Utah in English and a J.D. from St. Mary's School of Law. His interests include Capoeira, music, movies, travel and meeting new people. He and his son James run our school in San Antonio, TX.

Graduada Joaninha (Sarah Sparrow) started training Capoeira in 2002. Her interests include music, horses, animals, singing and travel. She manages and runs a Capoeira school in Dallas, TX.

Graduada Princessa (Diana Adams)
has been a Capoeira practitioner since 2000. She loves animals, reading, eating green, wearing flowers in her hair, and traveling. Diana graduated from UT Dallas in 2007 with a BA in Literary Studies. She currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona and works alongside her husband as an office manager for their chiropractic practice.
Graduada Lua Branca

Graduado Soneca (Kevin Johnson) started training Capoeira in San Antonio during the summer of 2004. Outside of Capoeira, he enjoys drumming, debating politics, and playing video games. Kevin graduated from UTSA in 2010 with a Political Science degree. He currently works in San Antonio for a small multimedia company that produces a wide variety of video and educational software.

Graduado Ventania (Fabio Ramalho) is a native of São Paulo Brazil. In 2000, at the age of 13, Fabio moved to the U.S. with his family. He lived in Lansing, MI for 5 years where he met a Mocambian friend who sparked his interest in Capoeira in 2004. In 2005, Fabio moved to San Antonio, TX where he joined CapuraGinga under Monitor Advogado. Ventania attends the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Public Relations. He is scheduled to graduate in 2012.
